GH Spoilers: Trina Is Confused By The End Of Curtis and Portia’s Marriage And Wants Answers
General Hospital spoilers indicate that the marriage of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is in trouble.
Curtis is livid that Portia lied to him about being blackmailed by both Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) regarding Portia doctoring Heather Webber’s (last played by Alley Mills) test results.
Curtis is not a fan of secrets and lies, as it was the reason for the ending of his marriage to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Curtis would soon file for divorce, and end his marriage to Portia, and their daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) would be completely taken aback by this. Trina would want answers as to why Curtis and Portia’s marriage fell apart.
Curtis Ashford And Portia Robinson Announce Their Divorce
Trina would be shocked when Curtis and Portia announce their divorce, as she would be unaware of what has happened between the two of them. Portia would give her a half truth and tell her that she was lying to Curtis about a hospital matter, and that he did not approve. Trina would suspect that there is more to it, and that Portia is not telling her the whole story. Trina would then go to her father, Curtis for answers.
Curtis Ashford Tells Trina Robinson The Whole Story
Curtis would have to tell Trina everything once she finally confronts him about why he and her mother are putting an end to their marriage.
Curtis would tell her exactly what set this in motion- Portia changed Heather Webber’s test results to ensure that she didn’t get out of prison, and Trina would be shocked.
Curtis would further explain that both Brad and Drew found out about it, and were blackmailing Portia, who faced losing her medical license and prison time.
Trina would be floored, and realize that Portia was going to great lengths to protect her, but she would not be okay with the lies.
Trina Robinson Confronts Portia Robinson
Trina would confront Portia when she finally learns the truth about what Portia has done from her father. She would be shocked, and tell Portia that she should have confided in Curtis from the beginning.
He would have helped her. She doesn’t like that Portia went to such great lengths to protect her, and she should have not acted with such poor judgement. She doesn’t need her to protect her anymore.
Portia would be devastated, and tell Trina how much she loves her. Trina said that she shouldn’t have lied, and she doesn’t believe her father one bit for ending their marriage, even though she understands why she changed the results.
