What Happened on Y&R?

At the Newman ranch, Kyle (Michael Mealor) showed up after Victor (Eric Braeden) summoned him unexpectedly. To his surprise, Victor agreed to the “pre-prenup” deal Kyle had offered—if he ever broke Claire’s (Hayley Erin) heart, he’d pay Victor $5 million and leave town.

Kyle attempted to run the paperwork by his attorney, but when Victor accused him of backpedaling, Kyle signed on the spot. Before leaving, Kyle asked Victor why he despised him so much, but Victor dismissed the question. With the contract signed and a handshake exchanged, Kyle hoped this would finally allow Victor to see him as his own man.

Cole’s Condition

Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) health took a serious turn for the worse at the tack house. Claire and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fretted over his fever and relentless cough. When a doctor arrived and examined him, he suspected something more serious than the flu, possibly pneumonia, and ordered x-rays.

Though Cole didn’t want to cause a fuss, Victoria insisted on taking him to the hospital. Claire stayed behind, deeply concerned. When Kyle showed up, she confided in him and wondered if she was overreacting. Kyle reminded her how far she’d come with her father and reassured her she was a great daughter.

A Tangled Web

Lily (Christel Khalil) and Damian (Jermaine Rivers) crossed paths at the GCAC, where he confided that he had to fire Holden (Nathan Owens). He asked if there might be a place for his friend at Winters, and Lily agreed to talk to Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) about a possible opening.

Holden didn’t take the news well. When Damian broke it to him, Holden accused him of betrayal, lashing out over being sacrificed for a new relationship. Furious and hurt, Holden told Damian it was time they went their separate ways.

Elsewhere, Amy (Valarie Pettiford) joined Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Nate for a walk in the park, energized by how well she’d been feeling. She shocked them with the news that she was moving to Genoa City to be closer to her son. The announcement brought Audra to tears. The three shared a group hug, and Nate offered his home until she could move in with his brother.

Later, Lily caught up with Nate and learned about Amy’s big move. Their talk quickly turned to the Dumas invitations, which had caught everyone off guard. Lily revealed she was going to France to get answers. Nate asked her to snap a selfie with Dumas and teased her about her romantic life before the conversation shifted to Holden. Nate wasn’t about hiring him, but Lily asked him to give it some thought.

Audra bumped into Holden on the Crimson Lights patio as he reeled from being fired. He confessed how lost he felt and said he just needed a friend. She took his hand and stayed with him, offering comfort in his most vulnerable moment.

Back at the ranch, Victor summoned Audra to scold her for failing to drive a wedge between Kyle and Claire. She insisted these things take time but offered a new strategy: if Victor could get her and Kyle invited to the Dumas event in Nice, she could handle the rest. Victor didn’t buy her excuses, but he didn’t shoot her down either.
