The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 23 Recap | Y&R 09/23/2025
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, September 23, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a public meltdown over Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) considers the idea of trying more men to get additional romantic experience.

At Crimson Lights, Claire will bump into Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and learn his flight to Los Angeles was delayed until morning.
Holden will offer Claire a sympathetic ear, so she’ll complain about Kyle trying too hard to fix things.
After Holden suggests Claire should take a step back from the situation, he’ll invite her to come to LA with him.
Holden will clarify that he means as a friend and assure Claire that he wasn’t trying to make a play for her in the park recently.
Claire will flirt a bit and suggest that’s disappointing, but she’ll ultimately turn down Holden’s LA offer since she’s trying to fix things with Kyle and he wouldn’t react well.
At Society, Kyle will run into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) while she’s waiting for Claire.
Victoria will give Kyle a pep talk, but he’ll worry about Claire finding reasons to pull away from him.
Once Claire and Holden walk in the restaurant together, things will get awkward.
Holden will meet Victoria and do his best to charm her, but Kyle definitely won’t be happy about his presence.
Although Kyle will want to speak with Claire alone, she’ll pretend she’s got business to discuss with Victoria.
Kyle will suggest breakfast tomorrow instead, so Claire will agree to that.
After Kyle exits, Holden will turn down an offer to join Victoria and Claire at their table.
Instead, Holden will head over to the bar to wait for his takeout.
That’ll give Claire a chance to confide in Victoria, so she’ll talk about wanting to run away from Kyle despite her desire to fix things.
Victoria will acknowledge that Kyle can feel Claire pulling away based don his earlier comments.
Claire will eventually hint about someone else getting under her skin, so Victoria will realize she means Holden.

As Claire mulls over the situation, she’ll suggest maybe she just needs more relationship experience before committing to one person for the rest of her life.
Claire will seem giddy and laugh a bit after Holden raises a glass in her direction on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
In the jazz lounge, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will give Audra updates on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) destroying all their Abbott Communications plans with his selfishness.
Once Sally gives Audra all the latest news, Audra will refuse to let them feel sorry for themselves with a pity party.
There’ll be some brainstorming as Sally and Audra decide to partner up on the next big thing.
Audra will also quiz Sally about where things stand with Billy and acknowledge that she let her own ambition ruin her romance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
After Kyle heads to the bar and starts drinking, Sally will give Audra a nudge to apologize to him.
Audra will refuse, but Sally will still try to set that apology in motion when Kyle stops by their table.
Kyle will act like Abbott Communications getting derailed was for the best since it was on the road to ruin with Audra involved anyway.
Kyle will also assume that Sally is the only person left in town willing to even talk to Audra.
As for Audra’s apology, she’ll only be sorry that it’s taken Kyle so long to hit rock bottom and that she aided in Claire’s heartbreak.
Audra will also suspect that Claire’s off having a Vesper with Holden, so she’ll continue to push Kyle’s buttons.
Sally will try to settle Kyle and Audra down as the fight escalates, but Kyle will still go on a tirade.
Although Kyle may be alone tonight, he’ll warn that Audra’s going to be alone for the rest of her life since no one needs her, wants her or cares what happens to her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Claire have more romantic issues ahead of them, so stay tuned!
