Todd and Julie Chrisley Share Type of Partner They’d Date If Other đłđđđ
Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, have contemplated what their lives would look like in the event of an unforeseen death.
âAll of our children have said if something happens to you, they would want me with somebody else,â Todd, 56, told Julie, 52, on the Wednesday, November 12, episode of their âChrisley Confessionsâ podcast. âBut, if you were with someone else, they said, âThatâs not happening.ââ

Todd and Julie have been married since 1996, during which they welcomed Chase, 29, Savannah, 28, and Grayson, 19. The Chrisley Knows Best couple are also parents to 13-year-old Chloe, who is the biological daughter of Toddâs son, Kyle, from a previous relationship.
âThey [said] they would not expect that, which I thought was crazy,â Julie said of the kidsâ logic that she shouldnât find a new partner if Todd died. âIâm their mother, and I have [been there like you have]. I just think thereâs a double standard and even children have a double standard â or ours do.â
Like her kids, Julie would also want Todd to find a new love if she unexpectedly died.
âYes, I would because youâre not a person to be [by] yourself,â she explained. âYou wouldnât be good [at] functioning by yourself. Youâd be too needy for your kids, like, âcause youâre a companion [and]Â a relationship kind of person.â
Julie, however, was not interested in dating another man in the event that Todd died before her.
âIn all seriousness because I am 52 years old,â she said. âA 52-year-old, a 55-year-old, a 60-year-old, they donât want a 52-year-old. I mean, itâs just the reality of life. I would say, it would have to be somebody older â and I donât want to be with somebody older.â
According to Julie, she also speculated that Todd âwouldnât be with a 57-year-old womanâ if something happened to her today.

âThatâs just not reality, and you would not want that,â Julie theorized. âI understand that. Iâm just saying, for that reason, I just know that someone my age is not going to look at a 52-year-old like, âYeah.â
Itâs going to have to be much older, and no, Iâm not [interested]. Just call it what it is. ⌠To have to get tied up with somebody else with kids and grandkids and all that stuff, Iâm not [interested]. No, thank you.â
Todd, meanwhile, revealed that heâs not putting any age limitations on his potential new match.
âShe has put me out here and said I am not eligible to date older women,â he quipped, speaking directly to the podcast camera. âIf you have enough money, I will knock the cobwebs off. So, Iâm here for you.â
Todd and Julie recently reunited earlier this year after spending two years apart during their respective prison sentences. The pair had been convicted of fraud, despite maintaining their innocence, until being granted presidential pardons and securing an early release from jail.
Since Todd and Julieâs reunion, they are looking forward to their next chapter together.
âI want us to enjoy life,â Julie said on Wednesday. âI hope and pray that our health stays good [and] that we are able to travel, to enjoy our children in the [eventual] relationships that theyâre in and the children that they [will] have. [I want] to be able to travel and go do everything that weâve ever wanted to do. We are playing catch-up a lot.â
