GH Thursday, June 19 Recap: Sidwell Bribed Judge Heran for Michael’s Custody Win

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, June 19, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got updates on the bad news Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) received from his surgeon and assured Kai that he’d bury the documentary footage.

Since Kai was feeling so lost without football, Drew offered a paid internship that involved working for him in both Port Charles and D.C. Kai seemed blown away over the gesture as Drew urged him to mull it over.

At their apartment, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had a Drew trashing session.

After Trina shared the latest Kai details and blamed Drew for getting his hopes up, Josslyn complained about Drew and all the custody case drama.

Trina felt confident that someone would stop Drew eventually, but she was scared over Kai believing his nice guy act.

Josslyn insisted that the truth about Drew would come out once his Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) frame-up fell apart.

At the Metro Court pool, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) met up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for drinks and talked about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) marriage being in trouble.

Jordan didn’t know how to feel about it and didn’t have much sympathy for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) since she lied to Curtis again.

Anna fished to find out if Jordan would want another chance with Curtis if his marriage ended, but Jordan was uncertain.

Nearby, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) had drinks with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and checked on her since Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was worried about his sister.

Later, Lulu approached Anna to thank the commissioner for her help bringing Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) home.

There were some apologies on both sides as Lulu and Anna moved past any previous tension.

Back with Jordan, she spoke to Isaiah about Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and got a bit riled over Isaiah bringing up Curtis during their discussion.

However, Isaiah was sorry his own romance with Jordan didn’t work out – and she seemed bummed too as she suggested sometimes the timing was off.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) caught up with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) briefly before she put Daisy (Levi Clark Coughlin) to bed.

After Sasha left Daisy’s room, someone mysterious approached the crib and peeked at her.

Later, Sasha came back and noticed that Daisy’s mobile was spinning as well as playing music.

That left Sasha perplexed since somebody obviously turned it on.

Back with Jason, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) talked to him about respecting Sasha’s decision to raise the baby on her own.

Although Michael could still be part of the picture, he wouldn’t have any legal rights as a parent.

That said, Michael mentioned that Sasha would change her will and make sure he’d be the one to care for Daisy if something happened to her.

Jason thought Michael was smart to think ahead.

Michael felt confident in his decision to trust Sasha’s judgment, but he knew many of his family members wouldn’t agree with this.

Fortunately, Jason was willing to back Michael up.

General Hospital Recap: Michael Gets Full Custody of His Kids

At Wyndemere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) showed up for a meeting with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and asked why Sidwell wanted to buy his piers.

Sidwell admitted he wanted to end Sonny’s influence in Port Charles and focus on expanding his own business, so reducing mob drama worked in his favor.

After Sidwell mentioned how Sonny had already lost one son, he assumed Sonny would want to live a life of safety and security with his family now.

Sonny took that as a threat, but Sidwell denied that and played up how he wouldn’t want anything to happen to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) either.

After Sidwell asked if they had a deal, Sonny made it clear that Port Charles was his home and that he was willing to protect it.

In the end, Sonny warned Sidwell to take his money and stay out of his way.

Meanwhile, Marco opened up to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about the mess Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) was in when it came to Sonny and acting DA Justin Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

General Hospital Recap: Michael and Willow's Custody Battle Begins

Lucas and Marco reflected on their complicated parental situations, which led to Lucas’ voicing fears about Sidwell potentially putting Marco in danger.

Talk ultimately turned to Michael’s custody case, so Marco acknowledged how rare it was for a judge to side with the father.

At Wyndemere again, Judge Eva Heran (Tess Auberjonois) showed up and confirmed to Sidwell that she gave Michael sole custody like he wanted.

As a result, Sidwell assured Judge Heran that the rest of the money would be sent to her account.

General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell will make plenty of other dirty moves as part of his shady agenda, so stay tuned.
