FULL! The Young And The Restless Preview Week Of June 1 to 5

Genoa City has officially lost its collective mind, and The Young and the Restless fans are barely surviving the emotional whiplash heading into the explosive June 1st through 5th episodes.

Betrayal, manipulation, missing wives, and dangerous psychological games are tearing the Newman and Abbott families apart, and honestly, nobody in this town should be allowed to make decisions without supervision anymore.

At the center of the chaos is Victor Newman, who somehow continues to operate with the confidence of a man who believes he can never be wrong.

Despite the horrifying fact that Nick Newman nearly died in a drug-fueled car crash connected to Matt Clark’s schemes, Victor is already congratulating himself for protecting Newman Enterprises

. Instead of showing guilt or regret, Victor is practically demanding applause from Nikki for refusing Phyllis Summers’ desperate deal weeks earlier.

Fans will remember that Phyllis offered to hand Matt Clark over to Victor in exchange for saving her company and dropping the charges against her. But Victor refused, deciding that protecting his empire mattered more than taking down the man terrorizing his own family.

Now that Matt is finally in custody and Nick survived, Victor is acting as though his ruthless choices somehow proved his brilliance all along.

Nikki, however, is clearly struggling with the emotional fallout. After nearly losing her son, the last thing she wants is Victor expecting praise for risking Nick’s life in the name of business.

The tension between them is reaching dangerous levels, and viewers are already predicting another devastating crack in the Newman marriage.

Meanwhile, over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott is facing a nightmare entirely of his own creation.

Young & Restless Tuesday Recap: Diane Leaves Jack

Diane Jenkins has mysteriously vanished, and Jack is beginning to realize that involving Patty Williams in his revenge games against Victor may have been the worst mistake of his life. Patty insists Diane left voluntarily, but nobody fully trusts Patty — especially not Jack.

The panic is written all over Jack’s face as he desperately tries to figure out whether Diane disappeared willingly or whether Patty’s unstable behavior has spiraled into something far darker.

Every nervous glance Patty gives him only deepens Jack’s fear that he may have unleashed a disaster he can no longer control. If Diane is truly in danger, Jack may never forgive himself for dragging his family into another one of his reckless vendettas.

But the most shocking storyline unfolding in Genoa City belongs to Nick Newman and Matt Clark.

After months of violence, manipulation, and psychological terror, Matt is suddenly claiming to suffer from complete amnesia.

According to Matt, he remembers nothing about poisoning Nick’s drugs, kidnapping Sharon and Noah, or the destruction he caused across the city. And unbelievably, Nick has decided to personally help Matt recover his memories.

Young and the Restless Weekly Update May 4–8: Matt Clark Refuses to Stay Dead

Yes, the same Matt Clark who nearly destroyed Nick’s life is now sitting across from him while Nick desperately tries to trigger his memories.

Nick’s twisted reasoning comes from the fact that Matt technically saved his life during the crash, leaving Nick emotionally conflicted.

Part of Nick wants Matt to remember every terrible thing he did so that Nick can finally direct his anger somewhere concrete. But many fans believe Matt is simply manipulating everyone once again.

If Matt is faking his amnesia, Nick may be walking directly into another psychological trap. By opening up to his enemy and exposing his vulnerabilities, Nick could be handing Matt the perfect weapon to use against him later. And knowing Matt Clark, that possibility feels terrifyingly real.

One thing is certain — Genoa City is heading toward absolute disaster, and nobody is emotionally prepared for what happens next.
