Cane’s (Billy Flynn) little trip to Genoa City on Tuesday answered a few more questions about his secret little schemes. His meet up with Holden showed us just how shady things really are.

The Queen of Eavesdropping

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) never fails to disappoint and Wednesday’s episode proved she’s still at the top of her sleuthing game. She hid out in the maze and caught Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Carter (Vincent Stalba) talking about their boss and his time away…and his impending return.

On top of that, it became clear Cane is up to no good and that there was way more drama to come. So much so, the legal eagle was worried.

A Horrible Death

Thursday brought us to tears as Victoria and Claire sat by Cole’s bedside hoping and praying he’d recover from his illness.Schemes, Secrets, and Shattered Dreams: This Week's Top Y&R Explosive  Stunners for June 30 – July 4

Sadly, that was not their family’s fate. No sooner did the ladies get there than Cole spent his final precious moments saying goodbye to the woman he loves and the daughter he finally met.

That very last kiss between Victoria and Cole melted our hearts and broke our souls. This sad ending to what we hoped would be Victoria’s forever love story is terrible and we have to wonder…why did Y&R bring Cole back at all?
