Bold & Beautiful’s Shooting-Spree Aftershocks: Liam and Luna Are Hanging On By a Thread!
As the July 8 nail-biter began, we learned that Sheila had only been shot in the foot. No big whoop (aside from this very real possibility). But then Liam rushed in to save Steffy, and Luna shot him in the chest.

Though Beth and Kelly’s dad was down, he wasn’t out. Sheila managed to cause a distraction, which allowed Liam to get hold of the gun and train it on Luna.
Rather than fear him, she basically dared him to pull the trigger. “I’m a dead man, anyway,” he cracked weakly, then fired on the madwoman who’d murdered Tom and Hollis and tried to do the same to Steffy.
So who is actually going to die? As of the July 9 episode, Liam and Luna were both still hanging on, albeit by a thread. Our hunch is that this will be the end of Luna.
When even Sheila is going, “Girl, you’re being extra,” it’s a pretty safe indication that you’ve taken a one-way trip over the edge.
Since at week’s end, Bill is asking to see Liam, we’re going to assume that — despite the fact that he saw the infamous white light as the July 8 episode ended — he’ll still have a pulse.
As for Sheila, again, she was just shot in the foot. Even Luna shrugged off the injury, sneering, “You’re not gonna die, Grandma.” Question is, do you think Luna is really as dead as she looked?

Finn reappears as Steffy continues telling Li the story. Steffy tells Finn that if Luna survives and Liam doesn’t, she doesn’t know what she’ll do.
An alarm beeps and Luna’s wheeled off into emergency surgery. Sheila calls Finn over to ask about Luna. Grace wants to look after Liam, but Finn doesn’t want to delay. He rejoins Liam to take him to surgery and Steffy kisses his head before they leave.
In the OR, Grace works on Sheila and asks for updates on Liam’s status throughout. Sheila can’t stop thinking about her granddaughter. Grace understands; she’s had her fair share of family drama too. They put Sheila under and start operating.
In the other OR, Bridget and Li work on Luna, trying to find the bullet. The see it and Li thinks they’ll have to leave it in. She won’t let her bleed out. “I refuse to let my niece die this way.”

Steffy sits in the waiting room and the cop tells her that it will take more than a bullet to take Liam away from his two little girls.
Steffy cries that it would be her on the operating table if not for him. “I owe him my life.” She asks a nurse to let her in the operating room. She’s told she can watch through the observation window.
In the OR, Finn tells Liam to hang in there. “We’re going to get you through this.” He looks up as Steffy enters the observation room and watches through the window. Finn continues with the surgery as Steffy dials a number on her phone.
