The Young and the Restless : Claire Vows to Expose ‘Lowlife Viper’ Audra to Nate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, August 12, reveals that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will vow to expose “lowlife viper” Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). There’ll be some dramatic moments happening in Tuesday’s show, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

In the park, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will gloat about her partnership with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and end up spilling to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) about all his corporate takeover plans in Genoa City.

Daniel will think Phyllis needs to work through her trauma and won’t approve of her teaming up with Cane on a plan that’s destined to fail.

Since Daniel will think Phyllis is going to make herself a revenge target, he’ll push her to get out now.

At Society, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will pull away from Audra’s kiss and demand to know what she’s doing.

Claire will pop up behind Kyle and insist she’d like to know the same thing.

Audra will suggest she’s trying to show Claire how weak and lustful Kyle is. If Claire hadn’t shown up, Audra will act like Kyle wouldn’t have pulled back the way he did.

Audra won’t think Kyle would’ve told Claire about the kiss either, but Kyle will insist he would have since Claire needs to know she’s dangerous and duplicitous.

After Audra plays up what happened in Nice, she’ll suggest Kyle’s trying to convince himself he wants a good girl when he really wants her instead.

Once Audra struts off, Kyle will beg Claire not to let “that witch” get inside her head. Kyle will fume over Audra’s relentless and will think he needs a way to turn the tables on her.

While Kyle’s taking a work phone call, Claire will realize she could turn the tables instead and will head home soon after.

At the tack house on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Nate will see how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is holding up after her loss.

Victoria will check on Nate as well, so he’ll discuss grieving Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and the service they’re having for Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) in Chicago tomorrow.

The conversation will eventually turn to Audra, so Nate will sense that Victoria’s got issues with her.

There’ll be some talk about Audra’s deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) since she told Nate that she’d decided to end it. Victoria will seem like she’s struggling to hold her tongue over what she’s learned so far.

Once Claire walks in, she’ll be glad Nate is there since she has something to tell him.

Victoria will pipe up about Nate being kind enough to drop by ahead of Damian’s memorial tomorrow, so Claire will realize she can’t spill too much right now.

Instead, Claire will act like she just wanted to see how Nate was coping, so he’ll appreciate her support along with Victoria’s.

After Nate exits, Victoria will get Claire’s confirmation that she was planning on revealing Audra’s scheme with Victor.

Claire will also give Victoria updates on Audra kissing Kyle just now – though she’ll think Audra was putting on a show as part of her manipulation tactics.

Claire will be glad Victoria stopped her from piling on Nate during a difficult time, but she’ll warn that it’s only temporary.

As soon as Nate gets back from Chicago, Claire will insist he needs to know what a “lowlife viper” Audra is.

Once Audra meets up with Nate, he’ll mention his conversation with Victoria and Claire.

Nate will admit Claire seemed like she wanted to tell him something until Victoria got her to change course.

It’ll leave Nate wondering if this has something to do with Audra ending her agreement with Victor, but Audra will try to steer him away from that notion.

While Nate’s making a phone call to Amy on the patio, Audra will decide the war with Claire is on!
