Todd & Julie Chrisley Return ToWork & Launch Their New Podcast! Todd Talks About Prison “Friends”
Chrisleys Uncaged: Todd Jokes About Prison “Girlfriend” and Gay Rumors on New Podcast
Todd and Julie Chrisley are officially back, and they are holding nothing back. The reality TV power couple, fresh from their respective federal prison sentences, have returned to the airwaves with a new visual podcast on YouTube, aptly titled Chrisley Confessions 2.0.
While they’ve trickled out details of their incarceration on their daughter Savannah’s podcast, this new platform is their unfiltered return to the spotlight, and the revelations are already raising eyebrows.
Appearing youthful and poised, the couple immediately presented a striking contrast in their prison experiences. Todd painted a picture of his time at FPC Pensacola that sounded less like a correctional facility and more like a forced sabbatical at a men’s retreat.
He described a life with roommates, access to a gym, and worship services. More shockingly, he claimed his diet consisted of fast-food favorites like Chick-fil-A, Burger King, and pizza, boasting that he had a “squad” and was effectively “running that place.” He also maintained that he didn’t work a single day, asserting he wasn’t “giving them any of his time” outside of his service in the chapel, which he framed as “work for the Lord.”
Julie’s account, however, was a world away from Todd’s seemingly cushy stay. Visibly shaking her head at her husband’s cavalier descriptions, she described her experience at FMC Lexington as “traumatizing.”
To make the time pass, Julie worked a steady job, Monday through Thursday in the commissary and sometimes Fridays in the kitchen. Her narrative provided a sobering dose of reality, starkly contrasting with Todd’s almost comical portrayal of his sentence.
The most jarring and headline-grabbing moments came during a fan Q&A segment. When asked about their current living arrangements—they have moved in with their daughter Savannah—Todd abruptly cut his wife off. As Julie began to explain, he interjected, “Oh, I thought she was talking about your girlfriend in prison. Go ahead. I’m sorry. I got confused.”

Without missing a beat, Julie fired back with a reference to long-standing rumors about her husband’s sexuality. “Someone always says you’re the gay one, not me,” she retorted.
Todd leaned into the joke, further fueling the speculation he has faced for years. “I’m good that people thought that my sex life continued when I was away,” he quipped, never explicitly denying the rumor. This blend of shocking humor and raw marital banter is exactly what made them stars, and it seems prison has only sharpened their tongues.
While their greatest joy was reuniting with each other, it’s clear the Chrisleys are processing their time away very differently. With promises of future guests and other television projects already picked up, their return is not just a comeback—it’s the beginning of a bold, complicated, and undoubtedly must-watch new chapter.
