The synopsis is, “Savannah and Grayson reel from the news that the pardon will not be going through this time, triggering painful memories; Chase finally decides to let his guard down and seek therapy; Faye attempts to get Savannah and Grayson to see the light.”

Episode six is called “Freedom Frenzy.”

The synopsis is, “Todd and Julie are suddenly pardoned overnight, sending the Chrisleys into a frenzy to bring them home; Chase, Faye, Pam and Harvey are excluded from plans to bring the home, leading to increasing tensions.”

The original show, “Chrisley Knows Best” aired on USA Network from 2014 to 2023.

In 2019 the couple were indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion. They were convicted on all charges in June 2022. In November of 2022, Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years.

Lifetime said the new series “begins during the wake of the family’s controversy and upheaval with Todd and Julie in federal prison and follows the family as their parents are eventually pardoned, released from prison and return home.

“The series shows a side of the Chrisleys that has never been seen before with exclusive access to the family — Julie and Todd from prison and upon their release, Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Chloe, Nanny Faye, and for the first time, Julie’s parents Harvey and Pam.”
