As GH’s Cody Prepares to Come Clean, Josh Kelly’s New Role Takes Him Down a Path of Vengeance
Josh Kelly’s Cody may be struggling with his actions as of late and Friday General Hospital viewers may see it all blow up since the character wants to come clean about his involvement with Ava.
However, that’s not all the actor has going on these days. Back in April 2024, our sister site, Deadline, learned the exclusive details surrounding his upcoming James Cullen Bressack action film The Workout, which also stars Peter Jae and UFC fighter Ashlee Evans-Smith.
And now news comes that the film will have a limited release in theaters on August 27 and will be available beginning October 28 by Video on Demand and on Blu-ray DVD.
The story surrounds two army rangers, whose plans to create a workout video are brought to a standstill when their filming is disrupted by a mob hit. And when the wife of one ranger is killed during the attack, he sets out on a mission to take down those responsible — as well as anyone who dares to get in his way.
“Really proud of this one…” Kelly stated on social media. “Some literal blood sweat and tears… it’s been so rad. This kind of project is what I loved to watch as a kid… so fun.”
A few of Kelly’s Port Charles castmates jumped into the comments to share their excitement for him, including Tanisha Harper (Jordan), who cheered, “Yeah buddy! Woohoo!” while Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) sent his support in the form of five applauding emojis.
