New alliances stemming from dislikes make their way into the Days of Our Lives’ storyline in the coming week of February 2, 2026.

On one hand, Gwen proposes employing Vivian’s services, while on the other, Marlena plans to step into the running of Basic Black. This may make her privy to Kate’s secret plan for Johnny. Elsewhere, Stephanie’s stalker drama may escalate with her team unaware of the culprit’s access to their plans.

The previous week of January 26, 2026, on Days of Our Lives saw EJ returning to town to find Gwen inviting an unforeseen problem. While Gwen arranged for Dmitri’s arrival to frame him for the DiMera kidnappings, Peter Blake was revealed to be the real culprit.

At the same time, Dmitri professed his longstanding love for Leo and broke up the latter’s relationship with Javi. Moreover, he threatened to pull all money from Gwen.

Meanwhile, Stephanie’s stalker played smarter than the people helping Stephanie. While the stalker framed Jeremy with evidence pointing at the Horton, Jada, Steve and the victim believed the evidence.

Moreover, the stalker planted a microphone in a photo frame in her house to capture every word. As such, they heard the plans made by Jada and Steve, including Alex putting himself up as bait.

Elsewhere, Chanel extended a hand of reconciliation towards Sophia and shared Trey’s photographs with her. However, Sophia called Melinda to ask for help in removing Trey from his adoptive parents. Although the former DA refused, the delinquent may not let go of her intention.

Days of Our Lives: Gwen gets Vivian to punish Dmitri

As mentioned before, Dmitri’s return to town, although orchestrated by Gwen, ended up biting her prospects. Dmitri threatened to take away all the fortune that Gwen was enjoying. EJ chastised Gwen for her actions without consulting him, since their secret experiment was dependent on Dmitri’s money. With Dmitri starting to pull funds out of Gwen’s possession, she is looking for a solution.

The upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives will see Gwen bringing Vivian back in town. She will likely probe the senior Alamain’s feelings towards the von Leuschner family. Vivian will likely assure her that she hates the family and each of its members. Emboldened by this declaration, Gwen may ask Vivian to help with the Dmitri problem.

Vivian, who is a master at forgery, will likely forge documents to help draw all of Dmitri’s fortune towards Gwen. In return, Gwen may promise Vivian some favor or payment. This sudden situation may shock Dmitri. However, he may choose to stay on and fight for his rightful share.

Days of Our Lives: Marlena has a proposition

Recently, Marlena learnt about Xander firing Brady from Basic Black due to the latter’s affair with Sarah. Meanwhile, Belle suggested that Marlena keep herself engaged to take her mind off unhappy thoughts and anxiety.

The Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Marlena may consider handling Basic Black affairs for some time. She will likely reprimand Xander for his actions against Brady during one of their sessions. Then she may suggest that Kate can run Basic Black while she herself will come in as a consultant. Alternatively, they both may agree to run the show, to which Xander will have no objections.

This will be a success for some time, till Marlena becomes privy to Kate and Xander’s evil plans against Johnny. Shocked at what Kate is doing to her grandson, Marlena will lash out at Kate and Xander.

Days of Our Lives: The plan to catch the stalker backfires

As fans may already know, Stephanie has her father, Steve, her boyfriend, Alex and her friend, Commissioner Jada, looking out for the stalker troubling her.

After the stalker planted evidence to frame Jeremy, Jada took him for questioning but was forced to let Jeremy go. In the meantime, the stalker planted a microphone in a photo frame to listen in on all their plans.

The upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives will likely see Jada, Steve and Alex discuss their scheme to trap the stalker by exposing Alex to danger. Alex will also be seen offering to be the bait once again.

Meanwhile, Stephanie will try to send out false information about wanting to elope with Alex to instigate the stalker into action.

However, thanks to the listening device, the stalker will be privy to all their plots and plans. As such, when Alex takes a decoy to presumably get the wedding license, as Steve keeps an eye, hoping the stalker will attack Alex, they may end up disappointed.

Meanwhile, the stalker will ditch the team waiting for him to attack Alex, and will likely target Stephanie, who will be unguarded. The coming week hints at Stephanie landing in serious danger.

The other storylines for the week of February 2, 2026, include Rafe’s decision to join Kristen’s plan to trap EJ and Rachel getting schooled by Belle and Kristen for her confession.
