DOOL has new information that is causing a stir among fans Days of Our Lives Spoilers

Few television series have endured quite like Days of Our Lives. For sixty years, the residents of Salem have battled heartbreak, redemption, and romance in storylines that have become part of American pop culture.

Now, as the iconic soap opera approaches its 60th anniversary, NBC’s Days—now streaming on Peacock—is preparing to celebrate this historic milestone with an event that’s both nostalgic and groundbreaking.

Executive producer Ken Corday, the son of series creators Ted and Betty Corday, has announced a glittering anniversary celebration at the Garland Hotel in Hollywood.

More than a simple reunion, the event is a “love letter” to the fans who have kept the hourglass turning since 1965.

Cast members past and present—including Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), Drake Hogestyn (John Black), and Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Horton)—will gather beneath the chandeliers of the legendary hotel to toast six decades of drama, love, and family.

But this isn’t just a closed-door gala. Thanks to a partnership with E! Entertainment, fans around the world will be able to join the party from their living rooms.

The virtual red carpet—streaming live on social media platforms including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—will kick off on Saturday, November 8, at 7:45 p.m. ET. Viewers can expect real-time interviews, behind-the-scenes memories, and interactive fan moments that make them part of the magic.

Corday’s vision for the event is both heartfelt and forward-looking. Fans will be able to vote in live polls (“Who’s Salem’s ultimate villain—Stefano or Kristen?”), submit questions to the cast using hashtags like #DOOL60 and #SalemForever, and even pose for virtual photos alongside digital cutouts of Bo and Hope.

Exclusive clips, archival footage from the original 1965 pilot, and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes moments will also be unveiled.

There are even whispers of surprise guest appearances—perhaps a holographic tribute to Tom Horton, played by the late Macdonald Carey, or a live rendition of the show’s iconic theme.

For longtime fans, the event also serves as a journey through Days history. From the Horton family’s heartwarming Christmas traditions to the wild supernatural arcs of the 1980s and 1990s—like Marlena’s infamous possession—the series has continually reinvented itself while staying true to its emotional core.

Through cancellations, cast changes, and the shift from broadcast to streaming, Days of Our Lives has not only survived but thrived.

As the red carpet rolls out, Corday’s message is clear: this celebration is not a farewell, but a renewal. “We’re not just honoring the past,” he says. “We’re igniting the future.”

With talk of new crossovers, legacy character storylines, and even potential VR experiences that allow fans to walk the streets of Salem themselves, Days shows no signs of slowing down.

So mark your calendars and charge your devices.  the world will celebrate a television legend—60 years of passion, mystery, and unforgettable storytelling. The sands of time keep falling, but for Days of Our Lives and its devoted fans, the legacy is eternal.
