The upcoming May 14 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful is shaping up to be one of the most emotionally explosive chapters in the ongoing war inside Forrester Creations.
Ridge finds himself trapped between two powerful women once again, but this time the battle is not about romance alone.
It is about power, loyalty, legacy, and the future of the company itself. Brooke’s shocking proposal to become co-CEO alongside Ridge has completely changed the atmosphere inside the executive office, and the fallout may destroy the fragile balance that has existed between the Forresters and the Logans for years.
Brooke truly believes she and Ridge could become the ultimate fashion power couple running the company together. From a public relations standpoint, her vision almost makes sense.

However, Brooke appears dangerously disconnected from the reality of who Steffy is and what removing her from power would actually mean. Steffy is not someone who quietly steps aside.
She has fought her entire life to protect her place within the family company, and she considers Forrester Creations part of her identity. Asking her to surrender the co-CEO position would feel like a betrayal from her own father.
That is exactly why Ridge is spiraling internally. He admitted to Brooke that he enjoys working with Steffy, trusts her instincts, and respects the difficult decisions she has made lately.
Even though Steffy’s move to put Hope for the Future on hiatus created outrage, Ridge still sees his daughter as a strong leader protecting the company’s future.
Brooke, however, views Steffy’s leadership as personal retaliation against Hope, especially after Katie used Eric’s designs for Logan’s fashion show. Brooke is convinced the only way to save Hope’s line is by taking control herself.
What makes the situation even more dangerous is Hope’s role in all of this. Hope may appear calm on the surface, but she is quietly gambling her entire future on Brooke’s ability to influence Ridge.
Liam already gave her a clear escape route by encouraging her to leave Forrester and join Logan Designs with Katie.
He even proposed the idea of launching a brand-new line outside the Forrester empire. Yet Hope refused because she believes Brooke can successfully orchestrate a corporate shake-up from within.
That means Hope is no longer simply reacting to Steffy’s decisions. She is actively hoping for Steffy’s downfall.
Steffy’s reaction could become volcanic once Ridge officially presents Brooke’s proposal. She already warned her father that Brooke would never take her job, and now she may realize that Brooke and Hope have been positioning themselves behind the scenes all along. To Steffy, this will not feel like business.
It will feel personal. She may see Ridge as choosing Brooke over his own daughter once again, reopening years of resentment and emotional scars.
Meanwhile, the Logan family drama continues making everything worse. Brooke and Katie remain deeply divided after the Logan Designs fashion show disaster, leaving Donna desperately trying to keep peace between her sisters.
Hope understands that joining Katie’s company now could permanently damage her relationship with Brooke, which is why she is desperately clinging to the possibility of Brooke taking power at Forrester instead.
Every character now seems cornered by impossible choices. If Ridge sides with Brooke, he risks losing Steffy forever. If he sides with Steffy, Brooke will feel rejected and unsupported once again.
And while Ridge hesitates, Hope continues keeping Liam’s Logan Designs offer alive as a backup plan in case the entire situation collapses. By the end of Thursday’s episode, the battle lines inside Forrester Creations may be drawn more clearly than ever, and this corporate civil war could become far more destructive than anyone expected.
