General Hospital Spoilers: 3 Messy New Romances Bring a Sizzling Summer in Port Charles
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some new romantic duos may be just around the corner.
Some love life shakeups may be brewing, but things should be complicated for all parties involved!
Relationships always come with drama on the ABC soap, but they’re usually worth it in the end. Let’s consider three messy new romances that could bring a sizzling summer in Port Charles.
1) Nina & Brennan
The writing is certainly on the wall for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to fall for each other.
The show has the perfect setup since Nina inadvertently paralyzed Brennan with an injection before sparing him from more.
Now Brennan seems poised to come through with leverage for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) as part of this twisted alliance.
It’s easy to see how GH writers could build a soapy love story out of all this, so that may be exactly where things are headed for Nina and Brennan.
Could a kiss or maybe even some bedroom passion play out between Brennan and Nina at some point this summer?
2) Lucas & Joe
Although Joe Fitzpatrick’s (Jonathan Bennett) sexuality hasn’t been confirmed, fans have been speculating that he could be Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) next love interest.
Lucas has already started sharing scenes with Joe as the show sets the stage for them to grow closer.
Of course, Lucas is still keeping secrets regarding Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and that whole cold fusion project, so that adds some complex layers here.
There’s also the matter of Lucas trying to grieve and move on from Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), but soap characters tend to mourn quickly.
Regardless, it’s looking more and more like Joe and Lucas could be headed for love, so we’ll see if they might kick this romance off with a summer smooch.
3) Liz & Dante
Although Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is currently with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), she’s been spending most of her time bonding with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
That has to mean something, so Liz and Dante could end up being the romance to root for.
Ric has a knack for self-sabotaging and could ruin this relationship with jealous behavior.
Then again, it could be Elizabeth who betrays Ric and surrenders to temptation with Dante sooner or later.
Whatever the case, Dante and Liz may cross a romantic line eventually, so stay tuned for more news on their potential future.
