R.I.P., Luna? B&B Insists The Bad Girl’s Dead… But We’re Not So Sure. Here’s Why

Ding, dong, the witch is dead… or so we’ve been told.

At the tail end of the Bold & Beautiful episode that aired on November 20 (read the recap), Luna was running from half of L.A.

Deputy Chief Baker was pursuing her on foot while a police helicopter shone a spotlight on the fugitive from above.

The double murderess and rapist’s grandmothers Li and Sheila were hot on her trail, as were Deacon, Bill, Katie and Ivy. But in the end, none of them nabbed her.

Nope, Luna ran right into traffic and was struck by… Well, we didn’t see what, but when the next day’s episode began, we were told that she was dead.

No, really. Chief Detective Baker delivered the news in his most somber tone, so it clearly must be true… right?

To say we have doubts as to the veracity of Baker’s statements would be an understatement. Surely a show-rocking bad girl like Luna deserved a death that was somehow… bigger?

Heck, with everyone wandering through the fog, intent on making her pay, we assumed that the show was setting up a classic murder mystery!

Perhaps, however, we should have been tipped off by the fact that major would-be suspects like Finn, Steffy, Will and Electra weren’t part of the impromptu search party.

Baker also delivered the news that Luna hadn’t been lying when she claimed to have miscarried. But again, we have a whole lot of questions, many of which we suspect may never be answered.

What do you think? Is Luna a goner?

We have a hunch that the show is too heavily invested in her to let her go. In fact, we not only suspect that Luna’s latest death is yet another fake out, but we’re guessing we know one of the next big twists: Our money’s on Taylor, of all people, being the individual who helps wipe Luna’s smug smile off her face for good and enables her to lead a normal life. Cue the intense conflict with Steffy, Deacon… everybody! (More on that here.)
