RYAN GOSLING TO PLAY MARLENA’S SON! The Casting Twist shock fan Days of Our Lives Spoilers
Days of Our Lives’ Deidre Hall (Marlena) is rolling out the red carpet for Ryan Gosling to guest on the sudser.
Recently, Gosling appeared on Josh Horowitz‘s podcast Happy Sad Confused, where he showered DAYS with love and praise and discussed how much he enjoyed Dr. Evans being possessed by the Devil as a kid.
Gosling also gave the soap opera genre its flowers and commended the actors for learning so much dialogue in the short time frame it’s done in.
Ms. Hall viewed what the Oscar nominee said and extended an invite for him to kick it over at DAYS, then posted on Instagram Thursday:
We think it would be nice if you wanted to come over and see what we do in our neck of the woods.
So this is an open invitation to visit the Days of Our Lives set. Nobody will be possessed. And if they are, I’ll keep an eye on you.

Gosling answered Hall back a day later and is down for the visit! He posted his response on Instagram and said:
Deidre Hall?! Are you kidding me? Yes! This is a very enthusiastic yes to a very cordial invitation to visit you on set.
I will be there to thank you in person for being my OG acting inspiration. It wasn’t Marlon Brando in On The Waterfront; it wasn’t [Robert] De Niro in Taxi Driver; it was you.
