SHOCK! Lucas wakes up in the hospital & exposes Sidwell, leading to his immediate arrest GH Spoilers
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could land in trouble with the law soon enough.
That’s certainly the goal Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) had in mind when he kicked off a risky plan that put his own life in jeopardy.
After Lucas stole the blackmail material for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), he knew it didn’t mean true freedom just yet.
With Sidwell still roaming around and putting their loved ones in danger, Lucas understood none of them would really be free from his threat.
That’s why Lucas decided the best way to take Sidwell down would be to catch him committing another killer act.
Lucas obviously didn’t want to put anyone else at risk, so it makes sense that he realized he needed to take the gamble himself.
Now that Lucas has provoked Sidwell into pumping three bullets in him, the plan seems to be working like a charm.
A big reveal is presumably on the way involving Lucas’ bulletproof vest and a potential hidden camera setup.
Lucas may have made sure there’s video evidence that he can hand over to the cops in the coming episodes.
GH spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will make an arrest that becomes huge news on June 12.
Chase will take someone who’s considered high-profile in Port Charles into custody.
Will it be Sidwell who gets hauled off in handcuffs? That could easily happen if Lucas’ scheme brings the results he’s anticipating.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean the charges will stick! Sidwell is a powerful man with people like Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) inside the PCPD and judges that he’s more than willing to bribe and threaten.
Even so, Lucas could at least get a temporary victory if Sidwell gets arrested for his attempted murder.
You can bet Lucas will feel a great sense of satisfaction if his plan ends with Sidwell getting read his rights and forced down to the station.
Lucas may pat himself on the back over a job well done, but this may not be over! Sidwell could end up wanting revenge and retaliate against Lucas or someone he cares about at some point.
General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell may have some police drama to contend with in the meantime, so stay tuned.
