3) Nate returns to medicine

Nate will inevitably head back to work at the hospital, especially with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) around to wear him down.
4) Lily surrenders her heart
Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will decide to trust her own heart over all the naysayers telling her to avoid Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
In addition to letting Cane run Chancellor, Lily seems poised to surrender her heart and embrace their next romantic chapter together.
5) Cane’s Dumas side comes out
Although Cane has turned from his wicked ways, his “Aristotle Dumas” side may come out a little in the months ahead.
Victor plans to use Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) as a spy and ultimately go after revenge on Cane.
Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) seems poised to make a Chancellor power play of some sort.
Once Cane realizes threats are rising up against him, he may unleash “Dumas” and show he still knows how to be ruthless!
This is one instance where Lily may approve, especially if Chancellor’s future is at stake.
6) Mariah goes free
Finally, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is set to be released this summer, so she’ll definitely experience some big changes.
Mariah will have to adjust to life outside her psychiatric facility again and deal with backlash from people like Devon Winters (Bryton James).
