Y&R Recap: Claire Declares She’s Done with Victor and Billy Learns Cane is Gunning For Jabot
Monday, August 4, 2025: Today on Young and Restless, Chelsea fills Lily in on what she learned about Cane, Victor orders Adam to run the hit pieces, and the Newmans are nervous about what Victor will pull at the memorial.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea runs into Lily and pays her condolences. She’s sure Lily doesn’t want to talk about what happened.
Lily had a hard time believing what happened was real. Chelsea fills her in about running into Cane a few weeks ago.
This shocks Lily, who realizes there was a way in and out of the chateau. She fumes about how she will never forgive Cane.
Chelsea explains that he left some clue behind and told her that he knew Dumas well.
They wonder what Cane wants. Lily doesn’t know but doesn’t recognize the new Cane at all.
She’s sure that Colin corrupted his son when they reconnected. The whole Dumas thing seems like one of Colin’s warped fantasies.
Chelsea is sure he is planning something big in town. Lily wonders how they are supposed to protect themselves from a threat they don’t understand.
Lily doesn’t know how to tell her kids that their father is a megalomaniac.
She assumes that Chelsea is having issues with Victor and complains about how he pulled the rug out from under her.
Chelsea will never trust him either but Adam is starting to step outside his shadow.
Once Chelsea leaves, Lily flashes back to fighting with Cane about his secret empire. She thinks of her kids.
At the tack house, Nikki, Victoria and Claire talk about how hard today will be. Victoria is glad they waited to say goodbye as a family.
Kyle arrives with flowers from teh delivery man. They’re from Nate. he’s in Chicago with Amy.
Kyle pays his condolences and wishes he’d been there sooner. Victoria doesn’t want to talk about Nice.
Nikki thinks they need to talk about Kyle setting Victor off by being there. The Abbott offers to avoid any unnecessary drama but Claire doesn’t think he should have to sneak in.
The other ladies back her up but warn there could be fallout.
They all hope they are overreacting, but it’s unlikely. Nikki says Victor wasn’t thrilled that Claire went to see Kyle before him but didn’t say anything.
They recall how much Victor disliked Cole but he came around eventually. They are hoping the same will happen with Kyle.
Victoria just hopes her dad can put all this aside for today while they remember Cole.
