Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Strikes Killer Deal – Proves Cane’s Biggest Threat for a Price?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) plan to have Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) look into his would-be killer won’t go according to plan.
Someone indeed wants Cane dead, but the show obviously isn’t getting rid of Billy Flynn since his Y&R run is just getting started.
Cane will survive whatever’s in store for him, but Chance may not be so lucky if he gets tangled up in some fatal drama.
Regardless, Cane feels confident that someone is going to try and kill him before the week’s over.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has a knack for snooping, so what if she finds out there’s a threat to Cane’s life?
We could definitely imagine Phyllis trying to use a situation like that to her advantage.
Phyllis is always working hard to strike deals, so she might strike a killer one next.
Perhaps Phyllis could vow to figure out who’s after Cane and expose his biggest threat for a price.
No one would be surprised if Phyllis worked this angle to score herself a Cane partnership and some career-related promises.
After all, someone else will have to solve the crime if Chance perishes saving Cane.
That’s especially true if the killer remains on the loose and could potentially make another attempt on Cane’s life.
Since we know a murder mystery is on the way, it makes sense for fans and all the characters to remain in the dark for a while.
It’d be easy for Y&R to show only a pair of gloved hands – at least until they’re ready to reveal news about the culprit’s identity.
No matter how it all plays out, Phyllis seems like the perfect character to go poking around.
Maybe Phyllis will be the one to crack the case; she could certainly try if a lucrative deal is on the line!
